Why SPORTathon makes a difference

Last year (2023) we raised an incredible £57,000 which funded a number of ventilators for The Great Western Hospital, Swindon.

In many cases, the equipment we buy is often unavailable on the NHS.  For us, knowing we can help so many hospitals across the UK with the most up-to-date equipment, which in turn gives premature and very sick babies the best start in life, is what keeps us determined to keep going.

Since the charity was founded in 1995, we have bought equipment for hospitals as far away as Cornwall and the Scottish Highlands. We have raised £1.6m and are now working towards the £2m goal.
